David Beamer Condemns Ground-Zero Mosque (#dmingml) …where IS this country headed?

David Beamer, father of Todd Beamer (famous American who shouted “Let’s roll!” on United Airlines flight 93) speaks out against Islam and the proposed mosque to be erected on Ground-Zero.  What do you think?  Is he right?  Should America take an aggressive stance against Muslims?  If so, why?  If not, why?  Is this the only path Christians can walk, or are there other options?  Is this a political issue, or is it something that is better dealt with on another front?

What about Americans who choose to be Muslim?  Are they still Americans?  Beamer seems to think this is not possible…yet America is a country of religious freedom.
